Greece

Visiting Greece was split into many small trips to the islands of Rhodes, Crete, Corfu, Santorini and Zakynthos and the mainland Chalkidiki region.
On Rhodes, I settled in the city of Rhodes, and from here I visited the entire island. Rhodes is so small that renting a car for 3 days should be enough. I spent the rest of my time relaxing on the beach.
Crete is much bigger. I rented a car for 7 days and still couldn't visit the east coast. I was stationed in Rethymnon, but I mostly went to the southern coast. The beaches there are much more beautiful, the water is warmer, and above all - if someone is snorkeling - the impressions from under the water are much better. Chania made a great impression on me, much greater than Rethymnon. Besides, it is worth going for a "walk" in the Samaria gorge - about 15 km down the stones, the same paths on which Kri-Kri goats move:) I also went to visit Santorini on a one-day faculty trip from Crete. There are two types of ships to choose from: a slow one, which takes about 4 hours, and a catamaran, which covers this route in about 2 hours. I definitely recommend the latter option.
Zakynthos is a tiny island that I visited along and across on a quad. A great means of transport on such a tiny island. It goes everywhere and the rental costs are very affordable. The advantage of the Greek islands is that even cheap wine is so good, and Greek cuisine is simply delicious.
